You spent months designing your office. It opened. People moved in. And nobody has systematically asked: is it working? Are the collaboration zones being used? Are the focus areas actually quiet? Is the furniture holding up? Did the layout create the behaviors you intended — or did people just rearrange things to work the way they always did?

The Post-Occupancy Evaluation is a structured assessment conducted 6–18 months after your space is occupied. It includes:

  • An employee experience survey — digital, anonymous, GLSC-designed. Measures satisfaction, productivity, and pain points across all space types.
  • A physical space audit — a GLSC evaluator walks the space, documents utilization, wear, unauthorized modifications, and “shadow use” — spaces being used differently than designed.
  • A furniture condition review — what’s wearing well, what isn’t, what needs maintenance, tied to your Day 2 Service Plan.
  • A utilization analysis — which spaces are used, which aren’t, at what times, captured through observation, not sensors.

Delivered as a comprehensive POE Report: survey results with analysis, space audit findings with photo documentation, prioritized recommendations (immediate fixes, 6-month improvements, next-project lessons), and an executive summary suitable for leadership presentation. This is the feedback loop that turns a one-time project into continuous improvement.
