GLSC’s Co-Design approach doesn’t disappear into a back room and return with a finished plan. The process is collaborative from the start — designer and client working together on the same table, with the same materials, solving the same problems.

The Co-Design Brief is a 90-minute virtual collaborative space planning session.

  • Before the call: you complete a digital pre-work packet — how your team works, what’s broken, what’s sacred, what the budget range is.
  • During the call: a GLSC space planner shares their screen, works on a live floor plan, and co-creates a preliminary space layout with you in real time — moving walls (or DIRTT glass), placing zones, testing adjacencies, and checking everything against your headcount and budget.
  • After the call: you receive a PDF of the co-designed preliminary floor plan, a furniture direction brief (types and quantities, not final specs), a rough budget estimate based on GLSC’s project data, and a next-step memo — what to do, who to involve, when to move forward.

This is not final design. It’s the accelerated beginning of a design conversation — the session that turns “we need to do something about the office” into “here’s what we’re going to do, here’s what it might cost, here’s who needs to approve it.”
