GLSC’s Day 2 Services are the difference between buying furniture and owning an inventory. Furniture wears. Chairs need adjustments. Fabrics stain. Warranties expire — and if you don’t track them, you pay for repairs that should be covered. Most organizations manage none of this proactively.

The Day 2 Service Plan is a custom maintenance and support program designed for your furniture inventory. Built through a structured planning process:

  • An inventory audit — what do you own, what condition is it in, what warranties are active
  • A scheduled maintenance plan — what needs attention quarterly vs. annually: chair adjustments, fabric cleaning, surface refinishing
  • A warranty tracking calendar — when each warranty expires, what it covers, how to file before it lapses
  • A replacement forecast — which items will reach end-of-life in 1, 3, and 5 years, and what budget to plan for
  • A GLSC service contact matrix — who to call for what, response-time commitments, escalation path
